Earth Hour

(25 March 2017)

HK Express fully supports Earth Hour 2017. Climate change is real, and it is affecting the very place we live and where we breathe. Hong Kong is one of the world’s worst cities for light pollution, and we can all play a part in improving the environment we live in. Apart from encouraging our staff to join in the activity towards energy conservation and turn off their lights and other electrical appliances for Earth Hour, we have also actively encouraged our Guests to join us in this important stepping stone.

Discovery Bay Beach Clean-Up
(08/04/2016)

In collaboration with Plastic Free Seas- a small team of passionate and focused individuals committed to reducing the scourge of plastic pollution in Hong Kong-, a group of 15 HK Express volunteers participated in the clean-up of Discovery Bay Beach.  Plastic Free Seas also educated our volunteers on the impact of plastic in our marine environment, and how the presence of a considerable amount of marine refuse causes nuisance and pose an adverse impact on the marine ecosystem and other uses of our waters.
