Hong Kong, 17 June 2026 – Satay King’s signature “White Curry” is taking to the skies for the first time. HK Express Airways (HK Express) today announced a collaboration with classic local dining brand Satay King, launching an exclusive in-flight dining series from 1 July 2026. The collaboration brings authentic, nostalgic flavours cherished by generations to 30,000 feet, allowing travellers to savour familiar Hong Kong-style dishes even while in the air.

This collaboration presents two specially crafted dishes for travellers. The headline item, “HK Express x Satay King” White Curry Lemongrass Pork Chop Rice, is the classic dish widely regarded as the crown jewel of Satay King’s top three signature favourites. Developed through over 30 years of culinary craftsmanship, this White Curry is made with fresh Thai ingredients and a blend of spices, balanced with coconut milk for a rich, creamy texture that has captivated generations of Hong Kongers since 1991. HK Express now brings this timeless cross-generational favourite to the skies in its authentically delicious form.

For those looking for something lighter, “HK Express x Satay King” Tomato Sauce Burger Homemade Patty Cauliflower Crumbles is now also available. Featuring juicy, tender homemade hamburger steak paired with low-carb cauliflower rice instead of traditional steamed rice, this dish allows health-conscious travellers to enjoy a delicious, light meal onboard.

From July 2026, the Satay King branch at Amoy Plaza in Kowloon Bay will be transformed into an “HK Express X Satay King” themed store, serving the exclusive “HK Express x Satay King” White Curry Lemongrass Pork Chop Rice and an HK Express-themed special drink – with a limited-edition souvenir included with each set, while stocks last. Interactive games  will be available in-store, allowing customers a chance to win round-trip flight tickets*, Satay King dining vouchers and exclusive HK Express merchandise, extending the joy of travel beyond the flight. In addition to the Satay King series, HK Express is also expanding its summer in-flight menu with more local favourites. These include the “HK Express x A-1 Bakery” Carbonara Pasta, and “HK Express x Ging Sun Ho” Braised Pork Meatballs with Fried Rice, alongside classic refreshments like Classic HK Style Milk Tea and Salted Lime Sprite.
