HK Express to Launch New Wuxi Route on 17 July

Daily direct flights to the “Pearl of Taihu Lake” – perfect for a quick getaway

Hong Kong, 2 April 2026 – HK Express Airways (HK Express) today announced the launch of daily direct flights between Hong Kong and Wuxi Shuofang Airport (WUX) starting 17 July 2026, underscores our continued growth in the Chinese Mainland market.

With the launch of the new direct service to Wuxi, HK Express deepens its route network in the Yangtze River Delta, offering a total of 22 return flights per week across the region. Together with the existing routes to Changzhou, Ningbo and Yiwu, we now offer seven Chinese Mainland destinations, offering travellers greater flexibility and multi-city trips for seamless travel experiences across the region. Whether exploring Suzhou’s exquisite classical gardens, discovering Changzhou’s urban charms, or enjoying Wuxi’s serene lakeside scenery and Jiangnan cuisine, travellers can easily plan a quick getaway – just over 2.5 hours by flight – to experience the rich history and modern vibrancy of the Yangtze River Delta.

To celebrate the launch of this new Wuxi route, we are rolling out a limited-time promotion for all our Chinese Mainland routes, with “Ultra Lite” one-way fares starting from just HK$68 (including one small personal item)^*.
