The attractions in Hanoi are generally grouped into two main areas - the Old Quarter and the French Quarter.

The Old Quarter

Located at the northern half of Hoàn Kiếm District, the Old Quarter is the heart of the city with many colonial architecture packed within the small street blocks and alleys.
