HK Express can offer the lowest fares because we don’t include what you don’t need in the price; we only charge for the products and services you request. The chart below outlines what you can and cannot do with our fares.
A change fee of HKD 580 will be charged for every change on a per guest and per segment basis. Fare differences may apply to the whole booking; there will not be any refunds for lower fares. Changes can be made up to 48 hours before the scheduled flight departure.
For Korean flights: With respect to changes notified not later than 2 days before the scheduled flight departure, a change fee of KRW30,000 (for one-way) will be charged; if notified later than 2 days before the scheduled flight departure and/or on no show, a fee of KRW60,000 (for one-way) will be charged. Due to fare and tax applicable at the time of change, fare differences may apply and there will not be any refunds for lower fares. Change of names and routes is not permitted. Date/time change is permitted only with respect to the flights that depart from Korea.
Before tickets issuance - Not permitted to make name change before tickets issuance. Any name correction for the same person will need to be as a new, separate booking.
After tickets issuance - Once tickets are issued, name correction is permitted. Please contact our call center for any changes for the same person, and a change fee of HKD 350 will be charged for minor name corrections on a per guest per booking basis.

While all HK Express’ base fares are non-refundable, the Hong Kong International Airport Departure Tax, Passenger Security Charge and the Airport Construction Fee may be refunded upon request. Departure taxes will be refunded subject to local regulations. Please click link for refund application. All applications are subject to approval and an approximate 6 to 8 weeks from the date of receiving the application is required.
For Korean flights: With respect to cancellation made no later than 2 days before the scheduled flight departure, a refund fee of KRW30,000 (for one-way) will be charged; if cancellation made later than 2 days before the scheduled flight departure and/or on no show, a fee of KRW60,000 (for one-way) will be charged. Failure to check in or board on time shall be deemed as travelling, but, in case of no show on any sector, the next section will automatically be cancelled. Fare refunds will apply only with respect to the flights that depart from Korea.
Checking-in late for a flight, or failing to board the aircraft on time will result in a cancellation of a reservation.
Infants less than 2 years old will incur a fee of HKD$280 on a per guest per segment basis if held in an adults lap. Infants occupying a seat and children 2 and above will be charged the child fare. To book a dedicated seat for your infant, please contact our call center.
If for any reason you miss the first sector of a return flight, your return sector is still valid. No refund will be given for the first sector.
Not applicable to Korea flights.
This is an Airport Authority imposed fee regarding third runway construction at Hong Kong International Airport. Subject to Hong Kong regulations, this fee is refundable upon request if a Guest did not depart from Hong Kong International Airport.
