HK Express Pays Tribute to Dads with “Braised Tofu & Roast Pork” Aircraft,

Inflight Meal and Tao Heung Group Promotions

In celebration of Father’s Day, Hong Kong’s low-fare airline HK Express is paying tribute to dads with its A321 aircraft named “Braised Tofu & Roast Pork Rice” – a hearty, down-to-earth dish symbolic of the “Romance of Men”. To boost the festivities, HK Express is featuring the iconic dish in its inflight menu on Father’s Day and has partnered with renowned restaurant chain Tao Heung Group to present limited-time offers to its diners. 

 As Hong Kong’s low-fare airline, we are very excited to partner with a renowned local restaurant group that shares our passion for Hong Kong culture and our dedication to bringing low fares to the city, said Luke Lovegrove, Commercial Director of HK Express. We are delighted to offer exclusive discounts to Tao Heung Group customers as a celebratory tribute to all dads in Hong Kong this Father’s Day. 

From today until 30 June 2017, customers of 33 selected Tao Heung and Pier 88 restaurants across Hong Kong during lunchtime or thereafter will receive a promo code voucher entitling them to a 15% discount* for Fun+ and U-Biz fares, and a 10% discount* for Fun fares to Saipan, Kunming, Nha Trang, Hualien, Chiang Rai, Jeju, Tokyo-Haneda and Hiroshima. The offer is applicable for any booking made within the promotion period and can be used in conjunction with other HK Express’ promotions, with travel valid between 14 June 2017 and 24 March 2018. Only a limited number of promo code vouchers are availaible on a first-come first-served basis.

What’s more, from now until 15 July 2017, the first 15 customers who spend HKD5,000 or more at any one of 33 selected Tao Heung and Pier 88 restaurants will receive a HK Express HKD1,000 flight voucher* redeemable from now to 31 August 2017, if they register on Tao Heung Group’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/taoheungltd) with a valid receipt.

To kick off celebrations, local artiste Andrew Yuen joined HK Express cabin crew and a chef from Tao Heung Group to prepare different versions of Braised Tofu & Roast Pork Rice at an event held today (14 June) at Pier 88 in Causeway Bay. Passers-by had the opportunity to enjoy the taste and meaning of “Romance of Men” made with love by Andrew, HK Express and Tao Heung.

On Father’s Day itself, guests flying HK Express between Hong Kong and Tokyo-Narita# have an exclusive opportunity to savour a limited-edition Braised Tofu & Roast Pork Rice  inflight dish to celebrate the “Romance of Men” at only HKD65.
