Hong Kong, 27 June 2025 – HK Express Airways (HK Express) today announced the resumption of its seasonal Hong Kong-Miyako (Shimojishima) route! Operating from 27 June, this summer service includes four weekly flights to Shimojishima Airport (SHI), inviting travellers to discover this idyllic southern Japanese archipelago.

The HK Express management team celebrated the resumption of flights to Miyako (Shimojishima), Japan, by distributing commemorative gifts and taking photos with passengers at Hong Kong International Airport.
A ceremonial launch event was held in Miyako (Shimojishima) Airport to mark the inaugural flight.
