Packages: 

Step 1: Enter HK Express Holidays platform by clicking on “Packages / Stays” in our booking panel

Step 2: Select “Packages” and enter your desired destination, travel dates, and number of guests. 

(💡Tip:  You can select “I only need a hotel for part of my stay” if you need accommodation for part of your trip only.)

Step 3: Choose your preferred accommodation and room type

(💡Tip: We recommend choosing a fully refundable stay for greater flexibility and ability to change / cancel your accommodation booking without penalty!)

Step 4: Select your departing and returning flights. 

(💡Tip: Packages include 20kg of checked baggage allowance for your flights! You can also visit Manage My Booking to top up with more baggage allowance, U-first, preferred seats, meals, and more.)

Step 5: Enter your personal and payment details to complete the booking.

Step 6: Done! You’ll receive a confirmation email with your itinerary and booking details.

1. What is HK Express Holidays?

This one-stop travel booking platform offers a wide selection of accommodation and flights, powered by our partner Expedia.

 

2. What can I book on HK Express Holidays?

You can book “Fly + Stay” packages or standalone accommodation and save up to HKD 1,500^ on packages! Please note that packages require round-trip flights.

 

3. How can I purchase a package if my flight dates and accommodation dates are different?

You can customise your package by selecting “I only need a hotel for part of my stay” to make your accommodation part of your trip or for the entire duration, giving you the flexibility to tailor your itinerary.

 

4. How do I know if my package / accommodation booking is confirmed?

Once you have successfully made a booking, you will be directed to a confirmation page displaying a 13-digit HK Express Holidays itinerary number and a 6-digit HK Express flight booking reference number (PNR). You will also receive a booking confirmation email from Expedia, so please check your inbox as well as your spam and junk folders.

To access your hotel information, use the 13-digit HK Express Holidays itinerary number on the HK Express Holidays site under Find your Booking. For flight-related information, use the 6-digit HK Express flight booking reference number (PNR) on the HK Express site under Manage My Booking.

 

5. For packages, what is my flight baggage allowance?

When you purchase a package, your HK Express flight fare category will be Essential. This includes 1 Small Personal Item (Must follow the size and weight limits; not exceeding 7 kg) and 1 piece of 20kg checked baggage. For more details, please refer to Fare Categories.

 

6. Can I top up my baggage allowance?

Yes. You can purchase additional baggage allowance through HK Express-Manage My Booking. Simply enter your flight Booking Reference Number (PNR) and name to retrieve your booking. Your 6-digit flight Booking Reference Number (PNR) can be found in your confirmation email. Please ensure all add-ons are purchased at least 48 hours before your scheduled departure. 7. Can I add extra services for my flight?

Yes. You can add Extras like U-First, preferred seats, meals and more via HK Express-Manage My Booking. Enter your Booking Reference Number (PNR) and name to retrieve your flight booking. Please ensure all add-ons are purchased at least 48 hours before your scheduled departure.

 

8. How do I check-in online for my flight?

Online check-in is available between 48 hours and 75 minutes before departure. 
Web check-in: Visit HK Express Official Website at hkexpress.com and access our web check-in service. 
Mobile check-in: Download / Open the HK Express Mobile App and check-in with a few clicks!

9. How do I manage my package / stay booking purchased via HK Express Holidays?

Flight:

1. Visit the HK Express Official Website.

2. Go to " Manage My Booking".

3. Enter your flight’s 6-digit Booking Reference Number (PNR) and name to retrieve your flight booking. You may locate your flight Booking Reference Number (PNR) from the confirmation email. 

4. You can change or cancel your flight, add extra services like baggage allowances, U-first, preferred seats, meals and more.

Note: Flights change/ add extra services via HK Express Official Website may not be reflected in the HK Express Holidays itinerary. Please refer to the HK Express confirmation email for details.

Stay:

1. Visit the HK Express Holidays website.

2. Go to " Find your Booking".

3. Enter your booking email address and 13-digit itinerary number to retrieve your booking.

4. Alternatively, click on "Trips" or the link provided in your confirmation email.

Note: Accommodation changes, cancellations and associated charges are subject to the booking’s terms and conditions.

 

10. For packages, will my accommodation be affected if I experience a change in my flight(s)?

All HK Express flights, fares, and surcharges are non-refundable. Under certain circumstances, we may offer a refund option. If you received a flight cancellation notification with a refund option, we encourage you to change or refund your booking by following the instructions in the notification email or by accessing this link: https://irop.hkexpress.com/en-us/irop/login to arrange alternative options.  Should you need further assistance, you may also contact us via Customer Connect.

For accommodation-related inquiries, please contact the Expedia- Help Centre.  We recommend choosing a fully refundable stay for greater flexibility, allowing you to change or cancel your accommodation booking without penalty.

HK Express Holidays platform accepts credit and debit cards.

“Reserve now, Pay later” is available for selected accommodation options / types only.


2. What merchant descriptor name will appear in my credit card statement?

Your flight booking will appear as "HKEXPRESS LANTAU HK" and your accommodation booking as "TRAVEL RESERVATION" in your statement.


3. I need assistance with my booking, is there a customer hotline that I can call?
