Yes. The electrical appliances listed in your tenancy agreement are protected under home contents coverage. The fixtures and fittings and furniture provided by your landlord will be covered under the “tenant’s liability” sub-section of the “liability to third party” section. When you’re abroad, if flooding or an accident damages the unit or affects neighbours, coverage remains in force. Each coverage section has its own sum insured and item limits, ensuring tenants to travel with peace of mind and return home without bearing losses alone.
