As part of the ongoing expansion of Hong Kong International Airport, HK Express will relocate its check-in and bag drop services to Terminal 2 (T2), effective from 10 June 2026 (The exact timing on the day will be announced later). Additional details, including passengers arrangement and other relevant travel information will be shared in due course to help passengers prepare for their upcoming journeys. Passengers departing on or after this date will be able to view the updated details via "Manage My Booking" or the booking system in due course.

Following the relocation, updated departure and arrival arrangements:
All HK Express departing flights will move to Terminal 2 (T2) for check‑in and bag drop. Our service facilities will be located T2, where self‑service check‑in and bag drop facilities will be available. After completing check‑in and bag drop, please follow the airport signage to the departure facilities in T2, and proceed to your boarding gate in Terminal 1.
Please note:
Outside the operating hours of the T2 departure facilities, passengers should follow the signage to Terminal 1 for check‑in, bag drop and access to boarding gates.
All HK Express flights arriving in Hong Kong will continue to operate from Terminal 1 (T1). Immigration, customs, baggage claim and arrival hall procedures will remain unchanged. Passengers can collect their baggage, meet friends and family, and access ground transport at Terminal 1 as usual.
Arrangements for passengers using the HK Express Intermodal Pass and SkyPier transfer services will remain unchanged, ensuring a seamless connection.

Q: If my flight departs on or after 10 June 2026, do I need to prepare anything?
A: Terminal arrangements will be updated in phases. Please check the HK Express website and the Hong Kong International Airport website regularly before your journey for the latest information. We recommend planning ahead and allowing sufficient time for travel to the airport and navigating the facilities.
We will also notify customers of any changes to terminal or flight arrangements via ‘Manage My Booking’ and by email. Please ensure your contact details are up to date. If your booking was made through a travel agent or an online travel agency (OTA), please update your contact information via ‘Manage My Booking’ to ensure you receive our latest updates.
Q: After the relocation, can I still check in at the HK Express counters at Aisle H of Terminal 1?
A: No. From 10 June 2026 (The exact timing on the day will be announced later), all HK Express counters at Aisle H, Terminal 1 will cease operations. All passengers must proceed to Terminal 2 for check-in and bag drop. Please follow the latest arrangements to avoid any disruption to your journey.
